CMOrgChart is here

I have created a organisational chart/directory tool in Flex 2.0. It requires the latest Flash Player 9 Beta. I submitted it to the Flex Derby too! w00t! Here is the URL

It currently uses a PHP/MySQL backend exposing data with a webservice via NuSOAP. I plan to release it for free as open source soon. Just have to clean a few things up and zip it up.

    Try setting maintainAspectRatio=”true” for your images ;-)

    Nathan, thanks. Looking into that. In my haste to be a early bird entry, a couple things were missed :) That and some of the pics I scavaged were not so good quality.

    Uhm, i tried viewing your URL..

    but cant seem to be able to view anything. Just the grey background. Is it because of the Flash Player 9? i’ve installed it, but without uninstalling Flash Player 8 beforehand. Will that cause a problem?

    Kaz,sorry, I neglected to mention all this.

    CMOrgChart does require Flash Player 9 Beta. You can get it at http://labs.adobe.com. Note that you have to run the Flash plugin uninstall first.

    Ok, this is currently broken. It is built for FP 9 Beta and Flex 2 Beta 3. All this has now been released as GR bits. So, I need to do some coding, eh? I’m going to be re-coding it using Cairngorm as well…stay tuned.
