My collection of Wii comments

After the recent ACFUG meeting and being introduced to the Wii, too many comments have come to mind to not jot down. So here I will try and jot some down. As a reference point, this meeting had a total of 4 Wii, or is that 4 Wiis, at one point.

One Wii is fun, but a Wii Wii is more!

Never come between a man and his Wii.

Nothing like a group of grown men getting together to play with their Wii Wii.

Strike Through text component

Recently it was asked on the HOF Flex list how to display text with a strike through. I suggested extending label and using the graphics API, though I had no time at that time to produce the example. While another (Daniel Grace) has provided a mxml based example, here I provide a AS based one that allows for turning the strikethrough on/off at runtime, great for bound data. I’ve attached the component file as well as a simple application example.
