What is SpatialKey?
First there was Flex: we were amazed, astounded, and large amounts of drool followed shortly over such beautiful UIs full of wonderful eye candy, drag and drop, the all-powerful examples of DataGrid, and of course the wondrous graphing components. Further we were introduced with new concepts like UX and Rich Experiences. These first steps left us hooked, virtually addicted, to Flex and its world of wonder. We saw games and even a C64 Emulator. We wondered just how far can we take this and just how much more beautiful can life be?
Enter SpatialKey: http://www.spatialkey.com/ SpatialKey is a geospatial visualization product developed by some crack teammates at UniversalMind. Fuzzy you say? Those are heatmaps baby! Heatmaps, circle maps, etc, all visually interpret data much better then a stack of marker points be they dots, flags, bubble call-outs, or pics of Elvis. The tool has the ability to condense some 10k points of data into a beautiful heat map and only shave mere milliseconds off of your life. More points are possible via server side crunching.
